About Me

My name is Keila (it rhymes with Tequila)
I LOVE talking hormones (PMS? Hot flashes driving you crazy? What about your libido?), funny digestive noises and how to sleep like a champ.
I believe in being self-sufficient, growing my own food, playing music, spending time outside, that we can learn how to do just about anything.
I am a health geek, descended from a line of Cherokee medicine women, and I love to work with people, just like you, to figure out what’s really going on.
I treat people, not diseases (here's our condition list, if you're curious however). Our bodies are elegantly and intelligently designed and are able to heal ... but often need to get out of our own way.
This means eating nutrient dense food to give us the right building blocks (and not one particular "diet"), getting enough movement, rest, having joy in our lives, supportive relationships with healthy boundaries and having creative outlets for stress.
How we "do" our life is really the best medicine of all.

As a Naturopathic Doctor, I want you to know that you have options. That you shouldn’t have to settle for “I’ll live with it” and I believe that you know there’s more to it than that.
I want to show you how to get better. That your body is strong and is designed to move. That healthy food can be delicious. That you can have enough energy to get through your day AND enough left over to live the life you’ve always wanted. I want you to have an awesome sex life. Your health is your greatest investment. Let me help. My goal is never to preach, but rather to help guide you. We all have the ability to live a rich and vibrant life - let me help you be the healthiest version of you! |
